Update on Fernley Donations

We are still hitting the pavement looking for reduced or free supplies to rebuild the interiors of the flooded homes. Monetary donations go the furthest because we can continue to negotiate prices for "bulk" everything.

Here are some of the companies that continue to donate...

dry out their homes.
Home Depot-Sent teams to the area to help clean debris and remove drywall.
My Mimi's Daycare-offers to watch children of flood victims who
need to clean houses.
Access Automated Door Systems- Offers free inspections and discounted parts.
They are located on 280 Greg Street, Reno. Suite #10.

Wells Fargo-Donated $10,000 to the Red Cross. They are also giving assistance
on a case-by-case basis.
IGT-Partnering with Northern Nevada Chapter of the American Red Cross is
providing a dollar-for-dollar match on employee contibutions.
Pioneer Crossing-A local casino, has donated $20,000 to two local foundations.
H & R Block - Their business clients may recieve a copy of last years tax
returns a NO charge. they are at 75 Highway 96A.
This of course, doesn't include all the volunteers who have donated endless hours
of service and dedication to all the ongoing projects.
Now, with all that said, look at the local paper! It is filled with ads for the "flood victims". Discounts here and free inspections there ...Hello people...our flood victims don't have any money left. Residents of Fernley have been living in apts, motels, cars, others living rooms, and churches. They still have basic living expenses and some a have families to support.
Please, just give to the charities available. You can get more information at:
